date palm

July 30, 2017 by admin

These growths are from the date trees at the Denver Botanic Gardens. They really are orange and red. It’s a bit busy, more than I usually like but still an interesting overall pattern.

globe thistle

July 28, 2017 by admin

July 16, 2017 by admin

bee

July 15, 2017 by admin

My last trip to the Gardens had lots of bee pictures, so thought I’d turn them into a mandala. This flower is a purple Echinacea and the bee’s wings happened to line up to make another circle within the circle.
