Taking pictures has been second nature to me for 40 years. Being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of the light. Ever since I was a kid handed my first cardboard kaleidoscope, circular visions seen through the eyepiece intrigued me. When the camera was first invented the image produced was round, seen through a round lens. Camera lens are still round, but the area of exposure is a rectangle. The advent of digital photography and computers enables me to manipulate pie pieces of my images to create my circular visions, my Mandalas. Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning center and circle, the circle is a complete shape representing wholeness. I love the wonderful patterns formed in the center of my mandalas
