This is not the front on view like in the mandala but still a version of the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona. I love that it is built into the rocks. Grounded.

My grand-kids were blowing bubbles on the deck in the mountains. One bubble that landed in the shade had nice colors and the upright deck slats reflected in it.

One sees circles in the most interesting places, this was a bus shelter in Santa Fe on a busy street. Fortunately we had a red light when I saw this and took a quick picture. The light and the shadow were about as good as you could ask for.

On my last trip to the gardens there were several swallows sitting on some roof trusses. They were just chirping away and they made an interesting pattern – sort of like birds on a wire.

At the base of the staghorn fern there are round pads and then the frond part that sticks out. Picture above is where the two parts meet. My husband walked by and said it looked Egyptian. I was going to say architectural, in either case it is rather striking for a plant form.
