This yellow orange calla lily at the Botanic Gardens was a gorgeous color and I liked the simple shape it made in repetition.

Portobello mushroom

The gills of a freshly washed Portobello mushroom, so crisp but the empty center bothers me. I want to put something there. Usually I put various saying in the middle of my mandala – I have resisted, so far.

water lily star

The pentagon shape/star that formed in the center, sets off the mandela, with the half opened water lily bud anchoring the corners. There was movement in the water so no perfect reflection but I like the shimmer.
